- A local charity based in South Oxfordshire is seeking a full time Business Development Officer to join our expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:- Account manage new Corporate Fundraising
- Identifying, prospecting and growing corporate relationships
- Research and approach potential corporate partner using proactive sales
- Produce partnership proposals and sponsorship offerings
- Create materials and information along with the Head of Fundraising for corporate partners, to help build up a corporate package that can be used to secure new sources of support.
- Ability to work flexible hours (some weekend and evening work will be required)
- This is an outfacing role and travelling to neighbouring counties
Key Skills:- Experience in writing, delivering pitches and presentations.
- Fundraising experience desired but three years proactive sales is essential
- You must be self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Strong administrative skills (which include being a competent user of Excel and databases), good organisational skills, with a very high level of attention to detail.
- An energetic team player, with excellent telephone manner and face to face communication skills.
- Full Clean driving licence, own transport and permission to work in the UK is essential.
