Mobile Cleaning Supervisor

We are looking for an Experienced Area Cleaning Supervisor to join our cleaning company. Providing operational support to Area Contract Manager, you will assist in the smooth running of sites In the Abingdon area. The role is flexible and time will be divided between completing Operational Support, Supervisory Tasks & Periodical Cleaning as required.

• Provide operational Support to Contract Manager.
• Completion of Site Audits
• To carry out out-of-hours spot-checks on a regular basis
• Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and encourage safe working practices on site
• Provide training and support to cleaning operatives
• Conduct discipline procedures with cleaning operatives as required
• Organise, schedule, and supervise a variety of tasks and delegate duties to cleaning operatives
• Respond to any Client complaints and take the appropriate course of action in the circumstances
• Re-stock equipment and supplies of cleaning materials for sites
• Where necessary the Area Supervisor will be expected to clean sites out-of-hours to cover for staff sickness or holiday

• A long and established experience in the cleaning industry.
• Be organised and good at time management.
• Be reliable, responsible with a flexible approach to work.
• Have the ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Work well under pressure.
• Have a good sense of humour and a team player
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have the ability to use MS Office - Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Clean Driving License
• Work to be carried out at various sites in Abingdon.

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
