- Description
A well-established family run coding and marking business, serving industrial manufacturing companies. This is a part-time role at 25 hours a week, flexible on hours and days.The position is based at a rural office so will require a car driver.The successful candidate will be an important member of our small team, and report directly to the MD.
The role is varied, and the responsibilities include:
- Bookkeeping, maintenance of XERO accounts system.
- Sales Processing of sales orders, arranging shipments, invoicing, sales ledger, producing sales quotations.
- Purchasing, place orders on suppliers according to stock and sales requirements.
- Stock control, undertake regular stock checks and update the accounting system as necessary.
Skills Required
- Ideally candidates will have experience in a bookkeeping role, and be comfortable with using
- Xero and IT in a technology business.
- One of the main sales channels is e-commerce, so the role will involve processing online orders. Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential, as are a customer service focus, an open-minded attitude, and an ability to communicate effectively.
