Our client is looking to appoint a well-organised and versatile individual to the role of Grants and Compliance Administrator. This role supports the various aspects of the company’s activities by ensuring high professional standards are maintained in the administration of its grants, contracts and other back office functions. This role will suit someone who is looking for a varied role in a fast-paced environment.
Roles and responsibilities
· Administer the systems around grant calls, competitions, assessments and awards and related documentation.
· Track actions needed for compliance with terms and conditions around the awards.
· Manage documentation around contracts and other agreements.
· Produce the regular reports required and to comply with its grant funding.
· Support administration of governance processes including conflicts registers, Board admin, GDPR and other governance processes.
· Set up appropriate office policies and procedures and to administer these.
· Provide administrative support to the Equalities, Diversity and Inclusion Working group
· Support the finance and admin and other teams at times of peak work-load.
The is changing at pace to adapt to current circumstances and opportunities and as such this role will constantly evolve to encompass new tasks with plenty of potential increasing levels of responsibility in this area.
Key competencies
Essential skills:
· Proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, SharePoint and project management tools
· Ability to pick up (or exciting familiarity with) the systems used and its administrative processes including Flexigrant, Hubspot, Docusign or similar
· Highly developed organizational and administrative skills
· Familiarity with administration of contracts and grants
· An ability to work independently under own initiative as well as to work collaboratively within a small team.
· Good level of communications and a professional manner when dealing with multiple stakeholders
Highly desirable:
· Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
· Quick learner and self-starter
· A strong desire for quality and order and ability to manage files and data effectively.
· Demonstrable experience of working flexibly, including the ability to adapt to new situations, prioritise workloads and manage deadlines.
