An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Helpdesk Technician. Responsible for providing first-line support to UK staff across two sites, ensuring that service requests are dealt with in a timely fashion whilst providing a high level of customer service to join our team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:- Using our service desk management software to actively manage requests and keep them updated.
- Troubleshooting issues and determining the appropriate resource to handle the request.
- Supporting factory equipment including industrial printers.
- Logging service requests with suppliers.
- Liaising between suppliers and internal users.
- Ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
- Escalating issues when required.
- Setting up new users, e.g., creation of accounts, setup desktop / laptop / smartphone.
- Managing user accounts in various systems
- Patching devices to remove vulnerabilities.
- Assisting with project work, when required
- Installing applications and carrying out other maintenance tasks
- Administration of IP telephone system
- Maintain technical documentation on installation of software, configuration of hardware and troubleshooting.
Enthusiastic individual, motivated to provide an excellent service to business users. The individual must have a passion and interest for technology and be eager to develop his/her technical skillset.- Strong attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Self-motivated and very keen to learn new technical skills quickly.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communications skills
- Passion and drive to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ability to juggle workload and prioritise important tasks.
