- Description
Experienced Logistics Manager required for leading organisation based in Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an events and logistics manager with a catering background to join an organisation that offer great career development, great working environment as well as being a specialist within their field.
As Logistics Manager you will be required to:- Plan, design, deliver and execute events
- Staff leadership
- Site management
- Deliver, installation and build planning of event locations
- Logistical research, including financial planning, cost effectiveness and practical operations
- Ensure all legislation is adhered to especially H&S
- Assist Event Manager and Project lead with realistic budgets
- Attend and participate in client meetings and suggest ideas and ways of improvement if required
- Communicate and manage contractors
- Assist other senior managers when required
Skills and experience required- Strong experience of event planning and execution
- Catering knowledge and experience
- International events is highly desirable
- Up to date with all H&S legislation as well as in-depth knowledge of H&S practices
- Team leadership and management
- Operational support
- Client and contractor management and interaction
- Strong relationship building skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
