- Description
- My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager. Someone who has successfully run client facing projects before and will be able to come in and hit the ground running (there will of course be support and training provided). We would need someone who is able to take control of the projects and be comfortable liaising with people of all levels and effectively communicate their projects’ progress across the organisation and to our clients and keeping the projects on track.
Job- The hands-on project management of client onboarding projects
- Provide pre-sales project and onboarding support to internal and partner sales and consultancy teams to help secure new business as and when required
- Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan
- Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan
- Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary
- Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary
- Monitoring project progress and performance
- Project Management for the onboarding of new client solutions, and customer rollouts for existing Clients
- Managing co-ordination of the clients, partners and working groups engaged in project work
- Timely production and regular communication of all project documentation including, project plans, cost estimates, resource plans, risk registers and project status documentation
- Ensure the consistent delivery of projects against client objectives
- Ongoing project management of open projects to ensure that the implementation of the solution remains current and relevant to the customers and that opportunities for expansion of the business are identified
- Working alongside the Client Mapping team and Managed Services team to oversee the scoping, design, build, testing, deployment, hypercare and project closure stages of a project from a project management perspective
- Proactively build successful internal and external working relationships
- Liaising with internal and client delivery teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budgeted cost and to the expected level of quality
- Understanding and managing project risks, escalating where necessary and employing one or more mitigation strategies to avoid delays, overspend and quality issues
- As required provide onboarding and project management support to internal and partner sales teams to assist with securing new business, and/or developing existing business opportunities
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Fluent in written and verbal English
- Use of standard PC office packages (MS Office, Excel, Word)
- A positive and motivating “can do” attitude at all times
- Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) business is desirable
- Understanding and experience of software development and deployment is also advantageous
