Main purpose of the job
Junior Content Developer is responsible for developing and creating content that can be used across a variety of media including digital, social media and print.
The post holder will provide support for the enhancement of digital learning experiences through innovation, creativity and knowledge transfer.
Main duties & key responsibilities- Design digital learning for a range of devices and platforms to engage and capture the imagination of the learner.
- Research and provide marketing support to new and ongoing campaigns.
- Research and provide technical input to support the companys LMS (Moodle).
- Proof reading and copywriting for learning content.
- Work collaboratively with others, including Learning and Development Advisors (LDAs), Subject Matter Experts, Storyboarders, Graphics Artists and Content Developers.
- Produce and maintain key content documentation including content outlines, storyboards, asset lists, and transcripts.
- Produce imagery for course material and associated workbooks, using material and knowledge, sourced from subject matter experts.
- Support the quality assurance (QA) through peer review and functional testing.
- Work alone or within a team overseen by a Project Manager for the delivery of the clients requirements to a set time frame.
- Work independently after direction from the Digital Learning Team.
- Any other jobs the company requires you to carry out.
Qualifications / Experience
Essential- Higher education within the subject matter.
- High standard of English, grammar and copywriting skills.
- Ability to undergo and gain a UK Security check.[JT1]
- Experience in copywriting and Quality Assurance.
- Experience in design development and presentations.
- Practice in technical writing.
Skills and attributes- Ability to visualise, articulate and problem solving.
- Willing to learn Adobe Creative Studio.
- Ability to communicate ideas to a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Good interpersonal and collaboration skills, relationship building, and negotiation.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to follow technical documents from our customers.
Package:
Salary £22,000-£25,000 DOE
Full time, 37.5Hrs/week
Holidays: 22 days + all public holidays + 3 days paid Christmas Company Shutdown
