- My client is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to work with the Director and Senior Leadership Team. You will be a 'hands-on' individual looking to make a great impression and grow with the company. Experience of managing diaries, appointments and grant administration is essential.
Job Description- Supporting the Academic Director and other Senior Leadership Team with projects and programmes of activity, prioritising actions and making considered judgements where appropriate.
- Producing reports as requested, working with internal and external staff to gather appropriate materials.
- Work closely with other operational and academic staff.
- Meeting organisation, including taking and distributing meeting minutes, arranging facilities as necessary and circulating appropriate agendas.
- Diary management in Google and Outlook.
- Assist in preparing costings and materials for grant submissions, and monitor grants in progress
- Managing travel arrangements for senior staff, including visas and booking travel both nationally and internationally.
- Administrative tasks and processes, including coordinating events and visits (working with senior staff) and correspondence.
- Willingness to undertake additional duties as required.
- Significant relevant experience (essential)
- Experience of grant administration (essential)
- Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. (essential)
- Highly organised, able to work under pressure. (essential)
- The ability to quickly and autonomously gather relevant information required to prioritise and complete tasks. (essential)
- Experience of working in an academic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in dealing with a wide range of matters, sometimes of a highly confidential or commercial nature.
